COde of conduct
We stay committed to creating a dance environment that is built on values of safety, equality, inclusivity and respect for the Haitian cultural roots. The Code of Conduct clarifies the behaviours our artists and team members are committed to follow, and what we expect back from our students and third party collaborators.
If you experience any of the following situations at our events, whether from a student, team member, artist, or other collaborator, please report it to any of our team members.
Please be aware that inability to adhere to the code of conduct may result in removal from our classes and events without a refund, or termination of collaboration.
SAFE ENVIRONMENT
Any behavior that may be perceived as threatening or degrading, such as verbal, physical or sexual harassment, is not acceptable at our events. We do not discriminate against others based on race, gender, sexual preference or any other grounds both in class or online. We expect the same from whom we work with.
In classes, both leading and following is allowed for any gender, and we expect our students to dance with all other students. If anyone’s behaviour makes participation uncomfortable, please report to the teachers or organizers.
We kindly ask the artists we work with to not approach students, team members, clients and other collaborators in ways that may be perceived as non-professional.
DRUGS & ALCOHOL
Possession or use of any substance prohibited by law is not tolerated. Consumption of alcohol is allowed in moderate amounts and appropriate with the circumstances, local customs and applicable laws.
FAIR BUSINESS CONDUCT
We conduct our business in a fair and ethical manner, promoting healthy competition and protecting the interests of our customers.
