For this edition, we’re excited to welcome zouk experts from France who will introduce us to the French Caribbean cousin of Konpa. While the two dances share similarities, there are subtle differences. Many of us already incorporate zouk-inspired movements into our dancing, often without even realizing it!

Please note: this class will focus on authentic Caribbean zouk, not to be confused with Brazilian zouk.

The class includes a break, total learning time 2h
The classes are open level, and focus on partner work. No need to bring your own partner!

Anbyans Konpa is a monthly konpa event organised every first Saturday of the month

We are bringing you various konpa teachers and DJs from the Netherlands and abroad. Our goal is to grow the scene and offer a welcoming environment for both beginners and experienced konpa dance lovers to enjoy this beautiful piece of Haitian culture!
